Basic Pricing - Business Head Shots
Business portraits or "head shots" are my bread and butter assignment. I do a lot of them in my West Chester studio and on location. Price is determined by the number of subjects. The greater the number of people I am photographing, the lower the per-person cost.
Portraits take less than 10 minutes per person. You can choose from several standard backgrounds with light to dark gray being the most popular. If necessary I can sometimes match existing backgrounds that your company is already using at a small additional cost.
The portrait session itself is relaxed and my clients usually leave the studio saying something like "that was a lot less painful than I expected". I guide you through simple poses and take between 15 and 20 photos. You get to see the photos immediately to check that one or more look acceptable, and will have online proofs within 48 hours.
Once your final image is selected, it will be retouched, then delivered to you as jpgs in two sizes; a large one for print use, a small one for email and web use.
What to wear:
I usually suggest a solid jacket, dress or suit in gray or navy. Shirts or blouses can be any color, but subdued "classic" colors work best. Avoid busy or loud patterns in shirts, blouses or ties.
Your final choices include basic retouching. Lines under the eyes are minimized, blemishes are removed, skin is smoothed just a bit, and loose hairs trimmed. Upon request, I can visually "remove a few pounds". However this is NOT "Glamour Shots". These are business portraits and even though they are retouched, they will look totally natural.
Prices for regular Business Portraits / Head Shots are determined by the number of subjects I am photographing during the same photo session. I can spend 10-15 minutes photographing one person, or spend an entire day at your office photographing 60 or more.
